We were finally here for the last round of the Victorian Country Series for 2019. I was hoping to go out with a decent result given the shocker of the previous event.
Qualifying
I Qualified P12/22, 32.664. Pole was 32.007.
Heat 1.
I went from 12th to 8th by lap 2 and held it for the rest of the race.
Heat 2.
For heat 2, I started 8th and managed to battle my way up to P5. Unfortunatley got a 2-spot penalty for passing under yellow, so P7.
Heat 3.
Heat 3 was a wet race, so I was exited for this one. I started P7 and got a good start into P5, and then into P4 on by then end of lap 1. On lap 3. I made a move for P3. Then, another driver got me on lap 5 so I finished P4. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=423PTorTDmQ
Final.
I started P5 for the final, and I moved to P4 by the end of lap 1. I stayed there until lap 7, where my motor started to drop off dramatically, and I dropped all the way down to P8, and couldn't challenge for any positions.
Overall, a weekend that could of been better, but onto the next race in Geelong.
